Pacific Cup 2012

The 2013 Fall Ball Season dates will be announced next year. Thanks to all who particpated in our 2012 season.

Details

  • Team Registration only - $500 / team (maximum 8 teams with max. 16 players/team) | No draft is held
  • $10 drop-in fee for non-registered players
  • Schedule is provided
  • Field is provided
  • Insurance is provided
  • Line-up books, score books and jerseys are not provided
  • Single umpire for all games is provided
  • Game equipment (balls, bats, bases) is provided
  • Teams will be seeded by NAGAAA ratings into 4 "A teams" and 4 "B teams" at start of Fall Ball (before games are played)
  • Teams will play 11 regular season games

Rules of play

The following rules apply:

  • E1 - games are 75 mins
  • E2 - no new inning after 65 mins
  • E3 - weekday cancellations will be made by 3.00pm /
           CANCELLATIONS DUE TO FIELD CONDITIONS WILL BE POSTED ON THE HOME PAGE OF WESA.NET
  • E4 - no infield diamond warm up
  • E6 - teams must have 7 players from their registered team
  • E8 - 1 courtesy runner / inning
  • E9 - 5 runs max per inning (except open innings)
  • E10 - Mercy is 15 after 4 innings; 10 after 5 innings
  • E11 - Peel / Slide rule is in effect
  • E13 - 2 spares maximum per game*
  • E19 - SPN rules / WESA rules
*Spares can be non-registered drop-in players only. Rostered players may not spare for other teams.

Home teams are responsible for score keeping, it is recommended team check each inning to verify the score
 
Home team is to email the score to   by noon the next day.
 
Teams will be ranked each week by:
  1. Winning Percentage
  2. Run Differential (+/-)
  3. Head to Head
  4. Average Runs / Game
  5. Coin Toss
