WESA Field Days

WESA FIELD DAYS

New & Returning members who have not been registered on a team roster since 2022 need to attend at least one Field Day which takes place at Strathcona Park (857 Malkin Avenue):

1. Field Day #1 - Sunday, February 23rd, 2025 ~ 11:00 a.m.
2. Field Day #2 - Saturday, March 1st, 2025 ~ 1:00 p.m.

All Coaches and participants are requested to show up at least 20 mins early.  Attending Field Day is required for NEW Players only.  

WESA Members who played last year are welcomed to observe but will politely be asked not to participate. This way, our Rookies and Newbies will have more opportunities to engage with the skill exercises and Field Day Facilitators. 

Event/Game Cancellation Policy: Just like during regular season, we play in the rain!  The weather this weekend looks like it might be challenging, but Field Days will be cancelled only if field conditions are unsuitable for play. 

Players should go to the home page and scroll down to “Field Conditions” and or check their email inbox for updates on field conditions.

Note to Team Managers:

1. Team Building Coach Squad Clinic is at 9:00 a.m., Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, online immediately before Field Day #1.  Coach Squad members will be emailed the connection link.
2. 2025 Managers' Meeting is Saturday, March 1st, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Strathcona Community Centre (601 Keefer Street).
